“Versatility is at the heart of my artistic identity.”
From an early age, I immersed myself in a wide range of art forms—playing various instruments, singing, dancing, and acting. This broad creative foundation has shaped me into a well-rounded and expressive performer.
While my core training lies in musical theatre, I bring additional strengths in classical ballet, contemporary dance, as well as urban and commercial styles. Each of these disciplines informs and enriches my stage presence, allowing me to adapt fluidly to a variety of roles and genres.
What drives me is the desire to merge these diverse influences into a distinctive artistic voice—one that tells stories with physicality, emotion, and authenticity. I’m eager to bring this multidimensional approach to new productions and stages.

Achim Himmelbauer spent his early childhood in Vienna, where he first explored his musicality through instruments such as the guitar, piano, and drums. His artistic path soon shifted toward dance—a passion he discovered in his early teens. At the age of 15, he committed to pursuing a professional career in dance and was accepted into the prestigious Young Talents Program at the Performing Center Austria.
He later continued his training in Commercial Dance at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona. To further refine his vocal and stage performance skills, he returned to Vienna to study at the Performing Academy of the Performing Center Austria.
His stylistic versatility is reflected in a wide array of stage roles, ranging from operetta to ballet and musical theatre. Notable performances include Sissy by Fritz Kreisler and Die schöne Helena by Jacques Offenbach (both at Schloss Tabor), Stravinsky’s ballet The Firebird and a danced interpretation of Orff’s Carmina Burana (Klagenfurt City Theater), Mel Brooks’ musical Young Frankenstein (Theater Bonn), and the tango opera María de Buenos Aires by Astor Piazzolla (Vienna Chamber Opera).
